I use Sonar 7 with my PC and record both MIDI and WAVE tracks. The thing I don't like about Sonar is that a WAVE track can only be edited in total. That is to say that you cannot edit a part of the file, only the whole thing.

Does anyone have a recommendation on an audio editing program that they have used successfully that will allow me to edit a part of a WAVE file?

I use Sonar 7, an Alesis QS8.1 Synth, an M-Audio Delta APO 192 Sound Card, and a PC with SP 3.

To edit a WAVE file, there is no need for another program at all, I think.................

I also use yours' one.........
That is just fine and well.
But if you can not feel comfort with this one, you can try the recommendation one..........
