Thanks for the reply. I have been reading over the old forum but have not found any clear solution for this. I guess I'll get back to it.
Enjoy,

The QuadraSynth, QS8 and QSR tuning problem was discussed many times on the old QS message board.
If you search the archives with keywords like "tuning", "pitch" and similar, you'll probably find lots of posts, including the solution.
I remember someone posted detailed instructions on how to fix this problem.
Subject: Quadrasynth tuning problem
Posted: Thu Sep 02, 2010 10:08 am (GMT -5)

Hi folks, this is my first post here. Looking for advice of course.......

I picked up a used Quadrasynth Plus Piano. Seemed to work well but now that I've done a few jam sessions with it I find that the tuning keeps going off. The first time we did the reinitialise thing and set the tune back with the knob like it should and it stayed cool for a little while. Now not only does it move around, it also won't "microtune" it only tunes in entire steps, so I'm stuck with a C thats a bit sharp or a C# thats a bit flat. I'm going to open it up and start cleaning and resoldering anything that looks bad.

So does anyone know anything about this? Can you point my iron in the right direction? Is there software to help, like one of the "refill" downloads they have? Do you think the local repair shop can deal with an old synth?

Thank you for any input.
